Data and Digital Academy programme
The Digital and Data Academy is a graduate programme that provides technical skill development in a professional environment. The Academy allows graduates to develop their technical skills, along with their soft skills, while working within cross-functional teams. The data track develops analytical and technical skills with an emphasis on data. The digital track focuses on broader skills in digital technology and cultivates technical, analytical, and business skills.



What we offer
The Academy’s training programme uses leading Information Technology (IT) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technology. Every graduate is guided for the duration of the Academy through professional coaching and mentorship from subject matter experts in Sanlam’s IT and BI teams.

Experience:
Final year students or recent graduates with no professional working experience
Graduates with no more than 12 months’ post-university professional working experience
Work experience obtained as part of a work-integrated learning programme won’t be considered as professional working experience
Knowledge and skills: A basic understanding of the following will be beneficial: Programming languages and frameworks, database knowledge, IT data analysis, data security, risk management, and reporting and administration.
Personal attributes: Decision quality, demonstrating self-awareness, interpersonal savvy, managing complexities, optimising work processes, and nimble learning.
Core competencies: Cultivates innovation, customer-focused, collaborates, being resilient, and driving results.
