Diane joined EB BlueStar in May 2018, although she has been involved with Employee Benefits since 1992, working for Norwich, Fedsure and Investec and most recently at Liberty Corporate where she was seconded to Standard Bank Financial Consultancy to manage their Employee Benefits division in the Western Cape. Diane holds an Advanced CFP in Financial Planning and Employee Benefits, and she is involved in umbrella fund sales, consulting and business development in the Western Cape.

Gregory joined EB Blue Star in 2021 as a Sales Support Staff at our Rosebank offices. Prior to that he spent more than 11 years with Absa and FNB as a Campaign Specialist. He has more than 19 years’ experience in Employee Benefits in various positions.

Luyanda Qokama
Luyanda started his career with Old Mutual Group Risk department (GAP) in 2007. He joined Sanlam in 2013 since then he has been in different departments within Sanlam Corporate. Luyanda holds a B.Com degree, Bachelor of Business Administration Honours degree and Post Graduate Financial Diploma and has more than 10 years of experience in Retirement Industry. He joined EB Blue in 2024, and he is responsible for Employee Benefit Consulting and Intermediary services.

Nichole Carrick
Nicole joined EB Bluestar in 2022 in an admin support role. She started her long-term journey in 1993 at Southern Life as a fund administrator and followed that path for the next 14 years working for Momentum, Capital Alliance, and Liberty. She then did a ten year stretch in short term construction and engineering insurance before returning to her passion in 2020 in the broker environment.

Richard van Dijk CFP®
Prior to joining Sanlam, Richard spent 22 successful years with Liberty Life where he became Divisional Director of Sales, Marketing and Promotions, a division he established and led for a number of years, amassing numerous awards including the MD’s Award for Exceptional Contribution. Joining Sanlam in 2008 as General Manager, Richard was responsible for the distribution of Sanlam Employee Benefits products and services. He enjoyed 6 successful years with Sanlam Employee Benefits and was the recipient of the CEO’s Award. In August 2014, he jumped at the opportunity to lead EB BlueStar in a strategic partnership with SanlamConnect and Sanlam Corporate. A recognised industry leader, Richard is qualified as a Certified Financial Planner and is a previous winner of the Top Investment Candidate Award of FPI. He is also passionate about industry education and designed an INSETA accredited Wealth Management qualification for Corporate Specialists.
